I have recently started working with Paula Bakies for her interior design business, Acorn Interiors. A few weekends ago she brought me to a few homes throughout Andover to show me her work. Acorn Interiors is an interior design showroom for exclusive fabrics, trims, furniture, reupholstery, bedding and accessories. She is hosting the grand opening for her new store in Andover on Friday, December 3 during the Christmas "Andover Stroll" from 5 to 8 pm. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Katie O.... A Night Shoot | Andover MA
Everyone meet Katie! She has been one of my best friends since elementary school. An unbelievable diver at Penn State, Katie is a perfect 10 in and out of the pool. Katie and I decided to have a mini photo shoot the other night when we had nothing else to do. We quickly realized that my camera didn't take pictures well in the dark but that didnt stop us! We improvised using my car's headlights... Where is Suz's fancy lighting when you need it!? Regardless of the circumstances Katie still rocked the shoot... check her out!!

"Leave it in the Pool" Hour of Power for Sarcoma | Bentley University |Waltham MA
This past Tuesday, the Bentley Swim & Dive team was one of the 124 collegiate, high school, and club teams to participate in the fifth annual Ted Mullin's Hour of Power for Pediatric Sarcoma Research. The "Hour of Power" is a one hour long, "leave-it-in-the-pool" workout consisting of continous relays using every stroke. The "Hour of Power" honors those who are fighting or have succumbed to cancer. All teams start the relay at the same time, 4 o'clock, using thier respective time zones. Ted Mullin was a swimmer from Carleton College who passed away in the fall of 2006 from synovial sarcoma. The Hour of Power is held every year in his memory to raise awareness of this rare cancer and generate funds for researching treatments out of the University of Chicago. It is an unbelievable event and it is growing larger every year, to learn more click here.

A Walk With Amber | Pomps Pond | Andover MA
Bringing my dog for walks is pretty much one of my most favorite things to do. I walk my dog in several different locations around town. I decided to bring my camera along on the last few walks we've had at Rec Park and the Bird Sancuary behind Phillips Academy. It gave me a perfect opportunity to try out some of the settings on my new camera!

Carolyn & Johnny Take Up Boston | Boston MA
My cousin Johnny and his wife Carolyn said their vows in the beautiful Holy Cross Cathedral on Washington Street in Boston. I was particularly excited for this wedding for a number of reasons. For the entire year leading up to this day I had been listening to Carolyn and my sister, Michelle, sharing details about their weddings. It was also the final wedding for our family this year AND it was the debut of my new camera!! Everything about this wedding was wonderful. Welcome to the family Carolyn!

My parents got me a brand new Cannon Powershot SX20 is for my birthday!! A HUGE upgrade from my tired 2007 Casio Exlim. Of course the second I walked through the door the camera was out of its box and being used to take pictures of my dog....

Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made | Suz & Joe | New York NY
This past summer I went to New York City for the second time ever to see Suzanna and Joe Lombardo tie the knot. This wedding was a blast! It was also a great opportunity to see the city. Suz made a beautiful bride, and Joe a handsome groom. I was really happy to get to spend that special day with them.
Olivia & Natalie | Smolak Farm | North Andover MA
A few weeks ago I assisted Suz in a family shoot at Smolak Farms near my house. The girls were a lot of fun to take pictures with. It was an awesome day to be in an orchard picking apples.
