Suzanne & Jeff Tie the Knot! | Sea Crest Resort | Falmouth, MA

I met Suzanne and Jeff this past spring when I tagged along with Suz for their engagement session in Davis Square, Somerville. Little did I know then that I would also be tagging along for their beautiful wedding on Cape Cod. These two are perfect for each other, from their taste in music to their funny sense of humor. I especially love this couple because Suzanne (like me) is an aspiring photographer.  When it came time to edit these pictures I was just gushing with excitement. I had a hard time choosing what images I liked the most! Anyway this wedding was a lot of fun to shoot and Suzanne and Jeff are adorable. Check them out!

Starts with a look...
and then a kiss
their cake toppers were perfect.

Krista & Paul |Brewster, MA | My First Wedding

Since I have been shadowing Suz for about a year now, I figured that I would have shot my first wedding with her. But, as I've learned especially over the past year, life is full of surprises. I woke up Monday morning a few weeks ago to a Facebook message from Charles Bordner (Check out his site, or blog). He had stumbled upon my blog and apparently liked what he saw (hooray!). He asked me to second shoot with him for a wedding on the cape. I told him right off the bat that this would be my first wedding, but he still encouraged me to tag along anyway. Thank god he did! I was able to learn a lot from Charles. I also learned that wedding photography was a whole different animal than engagement or portrait sesssions and will definitely take some getting used to. The ceremony was held in Chatam, and the reception was at the Ocean Edge resort in Brewster.
I can't continue with this post without sharing how these two fell in love. It is a classic "Love at First Sight" type of story. Krista's father was throwing her a birthday party and had hired Paul's acapella group to sing for her. Throughout the entire party these two lovebirds could not take their eyes off one another. When the party was over and everyone had left, Krista found that Paul had "accidentally" left sunglasses behind. She  insisted that she take a several hours drive return them to him. The rest is history. Onto the wedding..

I spent the morning with the groomsmen.
I love this one of Paul and his brothers.
Paul's face was priceless when Krista entered the church (left)
Krista's younger brother's accapella group sang for thier first dance.
Charles wanted details... Ask and you shall recieve!
And they lived happily ever after.
